What We Learnt From Pitch to Rich

As the Virgin Media Business ‘Pitch to Rich’ competition goes through to the next stage, we would like to thank you for your continued support. Congratulations to the top 3 & good luck, it has been an amazing contest – our vote is with Aduna!

We knew that being up against companies with a far larger clout and following than ours, it was not going to be an easy contest, but throughout the competition we really felt the love from our friends, investors, customers and brand ambassadors – thank you all for your support.

Reflecting on the experience we have definitely learnt a great deal about campaign marketing.

Firstly, this competition has shown us that customers have responded positively to the fact that we have reached the semi-finals of the competition. We have had a record number of enquiries being generated over the past month.

Secondly, we have received some great publicity surrounding the semi-finals and our business pitch. We were featured in jewellery magazines, business websites and even on a Bulgarian national TV news feature. Our social media engagement has dramatically increased and our Twitter fan base grew from 1,000 followers to over 9,000.

We even created a Virgin Media ring which got picked up by Virgin Media Business.

Finally, it has shown us just how much can be achieved when we, as a company, focus on reaching one goal. We are going to continue collectively focussing on single marketing campaigns and projects in the future in bursts of energy and commitment over two week periods.

The combined effort of the company, the brand ambassadors, the customers, the followers, the retweeters, the favouriters & the Instagram likers contributed to getting more people to know about Rare Pink and we are very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to share our story in such a public way.

Onwards, and upwards!
